Field Day Every Day!
Team Field Day Incentive- Win a Team Pizza Party!
To make Field Day Every Day, in 2022-23, we have an amazing offer to our teams! It all begins with our annual Field Day!
Smooth Moto Fitness is sponsoring the FIELD DAY, EVERY DAY PRIZE and donating 5 OVPB Round Table Pizza Meal Deals (or equivalent) to the team that wins. The team that completes and submits the most Field hours throughout the season wins a pizza party for their team!
To participate in Field Day Every Day:
- Each team must complete Field hours. Field hours can be completed by:
- Annual Field Day participation, Opening Day Volunteer shifts, additional Field Clean-Ups or Project participation.
- Completing field duties on the Field Maintenance List (to be distributed at a later date)
-
Or by requesting special volunteer assignments from the OVPB Board. To request special assignment, email the leaguecoordinator@ovpb.net
- Field hours can be completed by parents, players, family and friends. Tally up the hours for anyone that contributes on behalf of your team.
- Game Field Duties DO NOT count towards Field hours.
- Do not double count your hours, please. For example, if you have two players, each on different teams, do not apply the full quantity twice. If 4 hours were worked, you can apply 2 hours to Team A and 2 hours to Team B; or any split combination thereof. In this scenario, you would not apply 4 hours to Team A and 4 hours to Team B.
- Opening Day volunteer shifts DO count towards the goal.
- To earn credit each Team Manager must email their Division VP the quantity of field hours completed by their team, no later than the final closing date.
- The Division VP must report these hours by email, no later than 1 day after the final closing date.
-
Field Day Every Day 2022-23, will conclude at the close of the 2022-23 Spring season.
- Notification of final closing date will be sent through Facebook and Division VPs.
- Team Field hours will be tallied and the team with the most hours will be awarded the 5 Pizza Meal Deal vouchers.
Additional Field Clean-Ups may be available throughout the season. Any additional Field Days will be posted to the OVPB website and Facebook page, and distributed to the Teams through Division VPs and Coordinators.
We welcome informal field clean-ups as well. While your child/player is practicing or playing, feel free to help maintain the fields! Ask your Team Manager how you can help out and they can get you to work! This time counts towards your hours!
